Charlotte
Todd - Director |
Char started as a teacher at Noah’s Ark in 1976 and took on the position as the director as well as a teacher in 1978. She attended Augsburg College and the University of Minnesota graduating with a degree in Home Economics with an Early Childhood emphasis. Char and her husband Bruce were married in 1975. They have 6 children, 11 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. She loves winter trips to Vero Beach and Disney World. She loves working with the children of Noah’s Ark and their families and she has made many long-lasting friendships over the years. |
Michelle
Hoover Teacher |
Michelle started teaching as a sub at Noah’s Ark in 2005 while her son Matthew attended the preschool. She taught in the 3-year-old room for many years and now teaches in the 4-year-old room. Michelle has a BA in Music from UW-Eau Claire. She was a stay-at-home mom while her kids were little and taught piano from her home for many years before joining the Noah’s Ark team. When the weather is nice, she enjoys gardening and going on walks with her cockapoo Cooper. She enjoys road trips to visit different zoos with her husband Bob and their children Katelyn and Matthew. Michelle’s favorite place to be is Disney World and she loves all things Disney. |
Kathy
Peterson Teacher |
Kathy has a Bachelor of Applied Studies degree in Early Childhood from Metropolitan State University. She has been married to her husband Tim for over 30 years. They have 3 grown sons, 1 daughter in law, and 3 grandchildren. She loves to spend time with her family and watch her grandchildren do their sports and activities. Kathy enjoys watching sports and participating whenever she can. |
Heidi May Teacher |
Heidi started teaching at Noah’s Ark Preschool in 2013 when her oldest daughter attended the school. She has an associates degree in Early Childhood Development from Rasmussen University. She has a combined total of 18 years of experience in childcare and education. Heidi loves spending time with her other half Mike and their 5 children Adeline, Elyse, Taylor, Connor, and Teigen. She enjoys going to family camp over the summer, taking trips to Wisconsin Dells, going on family adventures outdoors, and watching her kids do their sports and activities |
Nancy Hernandez Teacher |
Nancy started teaching at Noah’s Ark in 2011 when her daughter’s speech therapist was looking for a Spanish interpreter for another Noah’s Ark family. She has an Associates degree in Child Development from Think Small. Nancy enjoys spending time with her husband Ernesto and their children Valery, Kimmy, Miley, and Josue. She also enjoys taking fitness classes at Endurance, going shopping, and taking family vacations to Wisconsin Dells. |
Heidi Hansen Teacher |
Heidi started teaching at Noah’s Ark Preschool in 2021. She found Noah’s Ark through recommendation from friends in the community. She has a Bachelor's degree in Communication from the College of St. Benedict and an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from Rasmussen University. She has many previous years of education and childcare experience. Heidi has 3 children: Jack, Ryan, and Aren. They also have a giant black lab named Mickey. She loves to spend time with her family, watch her children do their sports and activities, watch movies, be outside, and volunteer in the community |
Katherine Panning Teacher |
Katie is a Noah’s Ark Preschool alum and started working as an aide in 2020. She graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from St. Catherine University. She was in the Antonian Honors Program and also graduated with a STEM certificate, a pre-primary endorsement, and a theology minor. She plans to attend grad school in the future to further her education. Katie lives at home with her parents Scott and Karen, her cats Cocoa and CB, and her brother Jacob who currently attends Bethel University. She is a Gold Award Girl Scout and is a troop leader. She loves music, swimming, and traveling. Her favorite places to travel are Duluth, MN and London, England. |
Taylor Nelson-Miller Aide |
Taylor is a Noah’s Ark Preschool alum and started working as an aide in 2015. She graduated from Centennial High School in 2017. She has a dog named Joey at home that she trained for 10 years. She also trains kids in the 4-H dog program. She has a horse named Elvis and enjoys spending lots of time riding and doing competitions. |
Ben Peterson Aide |
Ben is a Noah’s Ark Preschool alum and started working as an aide in 2012! He has an Associates of Science degree from Century College and a Bachelors of Science in Microbiology from Concordia University. Ben lives with his parents Kathy and Tim. He enjoys golfing, days on the lake, spending time with friends and family, and playing with his nephews and niece. |
